Female Alpacas
Name: Hill Country's Fayette DOB: 2 April 2007 ARI#: 30892064 Color: Medum Fawn Sire: Dundee's Stonewall Jaxon (848926) Dam: Hill Country's Victoria (1191240) Price: $14,000
Fayette is a beautiful little yearling. Her sire is our five time champion Stonewall, and her dam is our AOBA blue ribbon winning Victoria. Faye is as sweet as she can be. She is still a few months from breeding age, and if she is purchased before she has been bred in the fall of 2008, a free breeding to any fully owned Hill Country Alpacas herdsire will be included as a part of her sale.
Name: Hill Country's Bell DOB: 15 April 2006 ARI#: 30027784 Color: Beige Sire: Mile High Peruvian Heritage (812834) Dam: Nirvana's Sari (832411) Service Sire: Dundee's Stonewall Jaxon (848926) Price: $13,000
Bell is a beautiful young maiden alpaca with Royal Fawn/Dom Lucilio bloodlines. By virtue of her dam, she is half sister to Poseidon's Isaac who has a remarkable show record and who is now one of the premier young sires in the industry. Bell's fleece is buttery soft and has very nice character. She received a second place finish and contributed to a blue ribbon performance in a "Produce of Dam" class in 2006. Bell sells bred to our five-time champion Stonewall Jaxon.
Name: Dundee's Annie-Get-Your-Gun DOB: 24 June 2000 ARI#: 821963 Color: Medium Brown Sire: 5Peruvian Chinchero (800666) Dam: Faik's Paloma (175025) Service Sire: Poseidon's Titus (1210828) Price: $15,000
Annie is a delight. Her temperament is wonderful...expressive, friendly, and curious. She is in the prime of her breeding life at 8 years of age. She has produced four nice babies and we look forward to seeing her next offspring. She is one of the most dependable moms we have, with loads of milk and a very attentive manner with her cria, although not at all over-protective. Annie is currently bred to Poseidon's Titus, a full brother of Poseidon's Isaac, for a November, 2008 cria.
Name: Hill Country's Kendall DOB: 10 November 2006 ARI#: 30478855 Color: Med. Brown Sire: Tierra's Maximus (824445) Dam: Dundee's Annie-Get-Your-Gun (821963) Service Sire: Golden One (822669) Price: $15,000
Of the three babies that Annie has produced for us, Kendall is by far the nicest. To say that her fleece has brightness would be an understatement. It is absolutely stunning. She is showing that she has a beautiful conformation to match her fleece. Kendall earned a second place finish in her medium brown juvenile class at the Mid America Alpaca show in October, 2007 a fourth place at the A-OK Alpaca Blast Off and a fifth at the very competitive TXOLAN . Kendall sells bred to Golden One, out of the Macusani/Sollocata bloodlines, owned by Blue Gate Alpacas.
Name: Hill Country's Hartley DOB: 4 December 2006 ARI#: 30892057 Color: Med. Brown/White Sire: Dundee's Stonewall Jaxon (848926) Dam: Escondido's Shadow (844092) Price: $15,000
Hartley is a charmer. She has one of the most interesting and engaging temperaments of any animal at our ranch. She comes by it honestly, at least from her sire's side, as Stonewall is one of the most laid back breeding males we have ever met. Beyond her temperament, she also has the right stuff to follow in the footsteps of both her mom and dad when it comes to the show ring. You see, she is offspring of two champions. Her mom has two color championships, her dad, five! In her first show in the fall of 2007, she was awarded a blue ribbon in her multi-colored juvenile class. Hartley's price includes a breeding to any fully-owned Hill Country Alpacas herdsire.
Name: Hill Country's Angelina DOB: 18 October 2005 ARI#: 30027889 Color: Light Fawn Sire: Mile High Peruvian Heritage (812834) Dam: JA Ariel (821510) Service Sire: 4Peruvian Altiplano Gold 6026 (166567) Price: $18,000
Angelina is a pretty maiden alpaca who is expecting her first baby in late 2008. She is bred to the legendary Altiplano Gold, who contributed so greatly to the breeding program of Tim and Cindy Lavan and Chase Tavern Farm Alpacas in Maine. Angelina is well proportioned conformationally and produces great staple length. She has earned second and fourth place finishes in shows she has attended. We believe that she will carry on the tradition of her dam who has proven to be one of our best foundation females.
Name: Escondido's Shadow DOB: 28 December 2002 ARI#: 844092 Color: Med. Fawn Sire: PHAR Fabbri (805524) Dam: Snowmass Peruvian Drambuie's Ruby (800333) Service Sire: Escondidos Kokimo (841063) Price: $19,000
Shadow is a beautiful female alpaca as proven by her blue ribbons and her two championships, one color, one reserve. She has also proven to be a very attentive mother with very easy, unassisted births. Shadow is bred to our AOBA blue ribbon winning white herdsire, Kokimo. She is due in December 2008. Quality bred to quality...should make for something really special.
Name: Hill Country's Carson DOB: 26 November 2006 ARI#: 30478862 Color: Light Fawn Sire: Mile High Peruvian Heritage (812834) Dam: JA Ariel (821510) Service Sire: SCA Peruvian Magnum (830801) Price: $22,000
Carson is a beauty. She is the third female offspring from the pairing of our blue ribbon producing herdsire "Harry" and Ariel. Her oldest full sister won a blue ribbon in the 2005 AOBA Nationals in Salt Lake City. In her first show in the fall of 2007 she was awarded a blue ribbon in her juvenile class. She won a second place at the A-OK Alpaca Blast-Off and a fifth place at the 2008 TXOLAN Show. Carson sells bred to SCA Peruvian Magnum owned by Fairhope Alpacas.
Name: Hill Country's Madison DOB: 19 November 2007 ARI#: 30948952 Color: Medium Fawn Sire: Dundee's Stonewall Jaxon (848926) Dam: JA Ariel (821510) Price: $25,000
Madison is remarkable. She is just a juvenile and has a lot of growing to do, but she is stunning so far. She has a presence about her that has earned her the nick name "Hot Stuff." She is friendly, but confident and knows it. Her fleece is beautiful, great bone, and lovely conformation. She is gonna be something else.
Male Alpacas
Name: Hill Country's San Jacinto DOB: 21 April 2007 ARI#: 30948938 Color: Bay Black Sire: Mile High Peruvian Heritage (812834) Dam: Dundee's Justine Jaxon (848925) Price: $2,000
This young alpaca was born on San Jacinto Day, an important date in Texas history. It was day that Texas finally won it independence from Mexico after the defeat at the Alamo. While his official name is San Jacinto, we just call him "Jack." Jack is a sweetheart. He is curious and friendly. He is a classic PR animal, but he might well be a dark colored herdsire at the end of the game. He has already won two third place ribbons in his shows as a juvenile and he is shaping up to have a really nice conformation, with great bone, a trait he inherited from his sire. His staple length was incredible this spring before he was shorn. At this price, you might have a breeding male for fiber boy money.
Name: Esondidos Kokimo DOB: 3 Aug 2002 ARI#: 841063 Color: White Sire: CL9 Quasar (802942) Dam: JA Ariel (821510) Price: $2,500
Kokimo won our first AOBA Blue Ribbon in 2005. He possess a near perfect conformation and has a deligthful temperament. We are using Kokimo as a herdsire, but he is related to too many of our females to have broad use within our herd. He would make a great addition to someone's farm looking for a very nice white male with outstanding bloodlines (Yupanqui and Aladdin) at an unbelieveable price.
Name: Poseidon's Titus DOB: 18 Feb 2005 ARI#: 1210828 Color: White Sire: Caligula's Accoyo Poseidon (820499) Dam: Nirvana's Sari (832411) Price: $8,000
Titus is full brother to Poseidon's Isaac, who has won championships all over the country, including the 2005 Futurity and the 2006 I.A.O. Anyone who has seen Isaac will agree he's outstanding and Titus possesses all the same genetics and many of the same conformational traits. Titus has competed very effectively in the shows he has appeared in. In very large and always competitive white yearling classes, he earned a third and fifth place ribbons and was one of the three animals appearing in a "Get of Sire" class which earned his sire, Caligula's Accoyo Poseidon, a blue ribbon.
Name: Poseidon's Paschal DOB: 4 April 2007 ARI#: 30948921 Color: White Sire: Caligula's Accoyo Poseidon (820499) Dam: Nirvana's Sari (832411) Price: $25,000
Paschal is a very impressive yearling alpaca. He has only competed in three shows so far, and received one second place finish and two third place finishes very competitive white classes. One of his third place awards was at the 2008 AOBA National in Sandy, Utah. Paschal also contributed to his father's get-of-sire blue ribbon at the always tough TXOLAN Alpaca Spectacular in February, 2008. Pashal has a beautiful architecture to his fleece and apart from its color, is strikingly similar in structure and appearance to his older brother, Futurity winner, Poseidon's Isaac. We suspect it is probably around 14 microns. He has his mothers laid back disposition, but even as a young guy, he is showing remarkable interest in "the girls."
Paschal is co-owned with Rhonda and Kern Deschner and Tierra Prometida Alpacas.
Name: Mile High Peruvian Heritage DOB: 7 May 1999 ARI#: 812834 Color: Light Fawn Sire: Peruvian Oro (117915) Dam: Pperuvian Maruja (122889) Price: SOLD - our thanks to Joel and Julie Plummer from Hummers Homestead Alapcas!
"Harry" as we call him has been a real producer for us. He has 8 cria on the ground and 6 are female. That's 75% female cria! Can't guarantee he will produce the same in the future, but this is impressive! Many of his offspring who have competed in halter shows have done very well. One of his female offspring won an AOBA Blue Ribbon for us in a composite class. Harry now finds himself related to too many of our females, so it is time for his outstanding bloodlines to benefit another ranch. At this sales price, he'll pay for himself in less than one breeding given the quality of his offspring.
Pet Alpacas & Fiber Quality Alpacas

Hidalgo is a nice fiber quality male alpaca. He is still intact. His pedigree is excellent, with Chinchero and 007 in his bloodlines. He has a gentle disposition and is friendly. His fleece is bright and soft, with nice crimp and his density is improving as he matures. He has a very nice overall conformation.
