Alpaca Herdsires

Dundee's Stonewall Jaxon

Stonewall

DOB:  18 September 2003
ARI#:  848926
Color:  Medium Brown
Sire:  CPeruvian Axtion Jaxon (816025)
Dam:  XAN Peruvian Sakura (800315)
Fee:  $2,500

Stonewall is amazing!  This dark colored pure Peruvian huacaya has retired from the halter show circuit to pursue his career as a herdsire.  Yet he does so with an absolutely remarkable record.  In shows spanning geography from the West Coast and the Rocky Mountains, to his home in the southwest, he has earned ten blue ribbons and five championships; four Color and one Reserve.  His championships have been in full fleece halter, composite, and fleece.  He has a remarkably gentle temperament, yet exhibited a very proud and confident presence in the show ring.  Stonewall has fantastic conformation and his fleece has it all, amplitude and frequency of crimp, density, softness, luster, and consistency of color.  And he possesses a black gene from his sire.  This is excellence!

To our knowledge, Hill Country Alpacas is the only alpaca ranch in Texas with Stonewall's bloodline.

Poseidon's Titus

Titus

DOB:  18 February 2005
ARI#:  1210828
Color:  White
Sire:  Caligula's Accoyo Poseidon (820499)
Dam:  Nirvana's Sari (832411)
Fee:  $1,500

Titus is an excellent young male.  Were he any color other than white, he might have a long list of championships.  His fleece is that nice.  He has performed well in large white classes in the shows he has attended, and possesses many of the qualities of his sire.

Escondidos Kokimo

Kokimo

DOB:  3 August 2002
ARI#:  841063
Color:  White
Sire:  CL9 Quasar (802942)
Dam:  JA Ariel (821510)
Fee:  $1,000

Kokimo continues to surprise us in very pleasant ways.  This pure Peruvian out of the Yupanqui and Aladdin bloodlines “got the gate” in his first show a couple of years ago.  Competing in white classes is tough.  But Kokimo has shown tremendous improvement as he has matured.  His improvement has been so great that he was awarded a blue ribbon at the 2005 AOBA Nationals.  At that show, Judge Jane Tellier said that Kokimo has a “very polite disposition and lovely conformation”, adding, “This is what we are looking for.”

DOB:  14 June 2006
ARI#:  30645981
Color:  White
Sire:  Cperuvian Accoyo Express (816023)
Dam:  Kachina (832241)

Renoir is one of the most beautiful young males we have ever seen.  He is three quarters Accoyo including Caligula and Presidio on his dam's side.  His conformation is impeccable, with perfect balance and a striking head.  His fleece is almost indescribable.  You can see that it bundles from a distance, but wait until you get your hands on it.  Crimp galore, with high frequency and amplitude and "soft" barely describes the handle.  The usual adjectives just don't do justice to what it is like.  He is just now beginning to compete in shows and is already leaving a mark.  Watch for this guy in the months and years to come.
