Jewelry

We are pleased to offer a line of alpaca-inspired jewelry, custom crafted in sterling silver and 14K gold.  These items have been made exclusively for Hill Country Alpacas by Jim Morris.  Jim was the chief designer for James Avery Craftsman for 10 years before starting his own company to produce his distinctive designs.  Each of these items has been designed with the intent of portraying the genuine conformation of an alpaca as opposed to an artist’s impression.  This focus makes our items unique among other lines of alpaca jewelry.

Apparel

Beanies
We have a variety of beanies, all knit from alpaca yarn.  Because they are hand-made, they are all one-of-a-kind, but can be duplicated.  AND we can even custom make one for you.  Use the "Question/Comment" field at the bottom of this page to tell us which beanie you would like, or tell us how you would like one custom made for you.  By hovering over the pictures with your mouse, you will see a description of each beanie to use when you order.

All hand-made alpaca beanies are $55.00.

Knit Purses
Made almost like a beanie, but finished slightly differently, these knit purses make an unusual and attractive small handbag. This is a new item in the line, and we can custom make one for you if you let us know what you like in the way of colors and accents.  Use the "Question/Comment" field at the bottom of this page to tell about the purse you would like or contact us directly using the info found on our Contact Us page. 

All hand-made knit alpaca purses are $70.00.

Yarn

Because our annual harvest varies from year to year, so does the availability of our yarn.  You may use the form for "Questions and Comments" at the bottom of this page to make an inquiry into the current availability before you make a purchase.  We will be happy to hold your requested product pending receipt of an online payment or check. 

We are currently offering two varieties of yarns.  One variety is 100% alpaca fiber, the other is a blend of 80% alpaca/20% natural bamboo.  See the descriptions and availability below.

100% Alpaca

The yarns shown below are made from 100% alpaca fiber. These yarns are spun from the fiber of our own animals.  As shown in the picture below, the colors that are currently available are: White (Dawson), White (Crosby), Light Fawn (Daisy), Light Fawn (Harmony), Medium Fawn (OTC), Light Brown (Callahan), Light Brown ( Major), Medium Brown (Zori), Dark Fawn (Caldwell).  Each skein is labeled with a band identifying the animal whose fiber has been used.

Our blended yarns are made from 80% alpaca and 20% natural bamboo.  These yarns are spun from the fiber of our own animals.  As shown in the picture below, the colors that are currently available are: White (Renoir), Medium Fawn (Faye), a slightly lighter Medium Fawn (Shadow), Bay Black (Sutton), and Medium Brown (Kendall).  Each skein is labeled with a band identifying the animal whose fiber has been used.

Cut from steel using a plasma cutter, these huacaya inspired garden stakes will complement your home and garden.  Available in either an oxidized or distressed painted finish.
The alpaca's body is approx. 6.5 inches wide by 12.5 inches high.

Cut from steel using a plasma cutter, these huacaya inspired ornaments will be perfect on your Christmas tree.  But they don't have to be seasonal, they will make for a great year-round conversation piece in your home or barn.  These ornaments also make for a very affordable token of appreciation for someone who deserves a little thank-you, with a touch of alpaca.  At this price, you should buy several and have them on-hand for those spur of the moment occasions.
